Housing Options, Inc.
Provides rental assistance, advocacy, warm line, some furniture. Housing Options is a not-for-profit, supported housing and community support agency, developed and operated by and for recipients of mental health services.
Housing Options is committed to decrease stigma by increasing an awareness of mental illness through information, education, and advocacy. Efforts are focused on recipients, family members, community members, and mental health professionals in the counties of Erie. Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and Allegany. www.housingoptions.org
STEL, Inc.
Southern Tier Environments for Living (also known as STEL, Inc.) provides rehabilitative and support services to persons with mental illness and other disabilities in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and southern Erie counties. Our service spectrum includes residential treatment group homes & apartments, supported housing, single room occupancy housing, vocational rehabilitation, case management, social supports and housing development services.
Our organization is designed to help people by providing essential services that allow individuals to live as independently as possible in our communities. We're strongly committed to assisting people by promoting mental health wellness and creating environments where individuals can develop the essential abilities to live and function productively and independently. Dept. of the Aging
Provides social day care, case management, clinic services. The Cattaraugus County Department of the Aging provides or assures the provision of needed services to county residents who are age 60 or older.
The Department was created in July of 1975, through an Act of the Cattaraugus County Legislature. Since its inception, the Department has coordinated with existing community services, planned, developed and, in some cases, administered needed programs, while also promoting new and better services for all individuals age 60 or older. www.cattco.org/aging

Suburban Adult Services, Inc.
A non-profit rehabilitation agency and subcontract business that assists adults with disabilities to become as independent as possible. Founded in 1975 in Springville, NY, Suburban Adult Services, Inc. today provides programs and services to over 1,000 individuals and their families in Erie, Cattaraugus and Wyoming Counties. www.sasinc.org
The ReHabilitation Center
Provides sheltered workshop, job coaching, assisted employment, life skills training, clinic services, continuing day treatment, Medicaid service coordination, a children's learning center, and residential services for adults and children with disabilities. www.rehabcenter.org
The Mental Health Association
Operates family support services, advocacy, children supports, Camp New Horizons for emotionally handicapped children, and the Back Door Social Club. They also provide education and training about mental illness. The Mental Health Association in Cattaraugus County serves children, families and the public through programs designed to promote mental wellness, reduce stigma, and support empowering and mentally healthful attitudes and choices. Provides intensive case management services (ICM), Multisystemic Family Therapy (MST), and educational programs and workshops in the community and within the schools. Chemical Dependancy - Tri-County Memorial Hospital's peaceful setting contributes to our clients' journeys toward a new life free of drugs and alcohol. Clients take advantage of Tri-County's inpatient unit and outpatient clinics in Gowanda, Derby and Cassadaga. WNY Children's Mental Health Coalition
The Western New York Family Support Coalition was formed in 1995 by parents and mental health professionals dedicated to increasing support for families who have children with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Cattaraugus County Council on Alcoholism & Substance Abuse
Provides prevention education and information referral services, treatment to individuals recovering from alcohol and/or other drugs, 16-bed community residence for recovering alcoholics, camp for children ages 12-14 who are dealing with chemical dependency issues within their family or other family dysfunction, programs to all school districts within the county, conducting classroom presentations, facilitating teen support groups and providing early identification, intervention and referrals, and federally subsidized housing program targeting homeless persons with alcohol, substance or mental health diagnosis. www.cccasa.org
TASA
Provides comprehensive case management services, including service referral and follow up to Medicaid elegible youth age 10-21, male or female, pregnant/parenting or at risk of early parenting. Services are offered as needed by youth to all Cattaraugus County school districts. Services include goal planning, home, school and office visits, information, education, and facilitation of service plan meetings. They provide life skill instruction, advocacy and support.
Center for Family Unity
The Center for Family Unity, Inc. is a nonprofit (501(c)) organization dedicated to strengthening families in New York's Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Allegany Counties.
