7 members in the Human Services Committee.
This committee shall have charge of all matters relating to the following departments:
- Aging
- Community Services
- Coroners
- Health
- Nursing Homes
- Social Services
- Veterans Service Agency
- Youth Bureau.
In addition, the committee shall have the following responsibilities:
- General jurisdiction over all matters relating to the general welfare of persons in the County.
Liaison with the following contract agencies:
- Association for Retarded Children
- Council on Alcoholism & Substance Abuse
- Day Care Centers
- Mental Health Society.
Liaison with Cattaraugus-Allegany Workforce Investment Board.
