Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now seventy one as there are three hundred residents who have recovered from COVID-19.

The three hundred and eighty third confirmed case is a young male resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, whose parent denies that he had any significant travel history. However the parent reports that he was in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. The parent also reports that he has been asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches, etc.). He was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on October 21st and his test results indicated that he was positive for the virus.

The three hundred and eighty fourth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. She is a healthcare worker who reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She recently developed fever, cough, headaches, and body aches. She was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on October 21st and her test results indicated that she was positive for the virus.

The three hundred and eighty fifth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. She reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person, but she also reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches etc.). She was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on October 22nd and her test results indicated that she was positive for the virus.

The three hundred and eighty sixth confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. He reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person, but he also reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches etc.). He was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on October 22nd and his test results indicated that he was positive for the virus.

The three hundred and eighty seventh confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. She is a healthcare worker who reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person, but she also reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches etc.). She was tested for COVID-19 on October 18th and her test results on October 22nd indicated that she was positive for the virus.
