Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of eleven additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now sixty four as there are two hundred and eighty residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
Cattaraugus County has been working in conjunction with hazard mitigation consultant Tetra Tech, Inc. since July 2019 to update the County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). Each municipality within the County has collaborated to develop respective mitigation strategies. Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the fourteenth death of a resident of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications. She was a 65 year old female who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome her illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family and the entire Cattaraugus County community.

Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of its three hundredth and forty seventh confirmed case of COVID-19. The reporting laboratory was Bioreference Laboratories Inc., Elmwood Park, NJ. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now sixty as there are two hundred and seventy three residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
