Segregated Confinement Reports
Per NYS Commission of Correction: § 7076.7 Recordkeeping and reporting
Each facility shall publish monthly reports on its website, with semi-annual and annual cumulative reports, of the total number of people who are in segregated confinement on the first day of each month.
The reports shall provide a breakdown of the number of people in segregated confinement by:
- age;
- race;
- gender;
- special health accommodations or needs;
- need for and participation in substance use disorder programs;
- pregnancy status; and
- number of days in segregated confinement.

Residential Rehabilitation Unit Reports
Per NYS Commission of Correction: § 7077.7 Recordkeeping and reporting
Each facility shall publish monthly reports on its website, with semi-annual and annual cumulative reports, of the total number of people who are in residential rehabilitation units on the first day of each month.
The reports shall provide a breakdown of the number of people in residential rehabilitation units by:
- age;
- race;
- gender;
- special health accommodations or needs;
- need for and participation in substance use disorder programs; and
- pregnancy status.
Q. Is a facility of 500 beds or less required to operate a Residential Rehabilitation Unit?
A. No. Part 7077 applies only to facilities with a capacity over 500 beds.
The Cattaraugus County Jail is a 148 bed facility.
