Medical Laboratory Testing

 Our Laboratory is NYS certified and CLIA approved for the following

Other testing that is not available onsite is referred to Olean General Hospital.

 We Offer Direct Billing to Participating Insurances

Note:  For patients without insurance, we offer reasonable rates and payment options.

Drinking Water Analysis

In addition to medical laboratory testing, the Cattaraugus County Laboratory is also a NYS Certified Environmental Laboratory for drinking water analysis. 

We routinely perform coliform testing of drinking water (used to determine potability) as well as nitrate testing.  For more information about this testing, or to schedule a test of your drinking water, please see the Environmental Health Division page.

Need Directions?

From North Union Street in Olean:

Take Wayne Street through the three traffic lights.  After the third light, you will see a building on the left with a street sign saying Lincoln Ave./Leo Moss Drive.  This is the Cattaraugus County Office Building.  The Lab is located in the Health Department and is handicap accessible.

From Interstate 86:

Take exit 25.  Make a left westbound or right eastbound, one-third mile to Cattaraugus County Building on right.

Parking

Parking is in the front lot of the Cattaraugus County Office Building.  The Laboratory is located in the Health Department wing of the building (this will be located to your right when you come through the front doors).  Follow the signs marked "Laboratory".
