American Heart Association Authorized Training Center logo

Our office is an Authorized Training Center for the American Heart Association (AHA).  We offer several different AHA courses that will meet the first aid and CPR training needs for you or your organization.  Our AHA-Certified Instructors can instruct courses on location at your agency, facility, organization, or business.  In addition, we offer parts 2 & 3 for the eLearning courses offered by AHA which allows the student to take the "classroom" portion of training online and then come to our office to complete the skills portion and achieve certification.

Questions about AHA courses can be directed to EMS Coordinator Robert Kuhn at 716-938-2244 or RFKuhn@cattco.org.

All courses coordinated through our office have been updated to reflect current AHA guidelines.

Classroom AHA Courses

American Heart Association (AHA) classroom courses are the traditional training program for First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.  Occasionally, classroom courses are scheduled and opened to the public.  If you have at least 5 students needing training, we can schedule a course at your location for your convenience.  Successful completion of classroom training results in the corresponding 2 year certification for the course completed.

eLearning AHA Courses

American Heart Association (AHA) eLearning is a solution for those that are unable or unwilling to wait for a classroom course to become available.  Students participating in eLearning complete an online portion then attend a hands-on practice and testing session with an AHA Instructor.  Successful completion of both the online and hands-on portions results in the corresponding 2 year certification for the course completed.
